There are two Channel Types you can create:

  1. Basic - Any number of inventory sources can be created underneath this Channel type. Sources with and without pods are supported in routers.

  2. Traffic Router - Within a Traffic Router Channel Type, you can add any number of inventory sources and specify ratios for the inventory split. Sources with and without pods are supported in routers.

Channel Type: Basic

With the Channel Type set to Basic, the Basic Settings looks like this:

Info

Client's revshare - Please enter a % value between 1 - 100 %. The value entered here will be applied to the Pricing Types that can be leveraged when Creating a Source. However, they can be overridden at each source level.

You can add an Channel description and a Seller Type if desired. Seller Type selections default to Publisher, but can be changed to Intermediary or Both.

Additionally, you can select global block lists that have been created in the Tools > Global Lists section. You can block Demand by App_names, Bundle_IDs, and Domains. With the help of these lists, requests are going to be blocked and won't reach your Demand.

Schain Object Behavior: These are options you will find in this dropdown.

Options:

  1. Append to supply chain: IndiCue appends asi and sid to the calls from sources at the end of the supply chain. If there’s no supply chain passed from the initial call, then IndiCue will create it, indicating that it’s not complete.

  2. Append to supply chain (complete): IndiCue appends asi and sid to the calls from sources at the end of the supply chain. If there’s no supply chain passed from the initial call, then IndiCue will create it, indicating that it’s complete.

  3. Override supply chain: IndiCue overwrites the chain placing your sid and asi as initiator along with setting an indicator that the supply chain object is complete.

  4. Do not pass supply chain: IndiCue will remove the supply chain from the request and won’t send it over further.

Info
  • sid = seller id = Channel ID.  The sid field can be left blank. If so, IndiCue will send your sid = channel ID

  • asi = advertising system identifier

Channel Type: Traffic Router

However, if the Channel Type selection is Traffic Router, the settings are greatly reduced to this and all that is required is the Channel name:
